June, 23, 2009 RSDUY participates in political debates on unemployment, St. Petersburg

Another round of political debates will be organized by Polit-gramota on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 in the club Sochi (Kazanskaya st. 7, Nevsky Prospect metro station) and our charming comrade Lida Belkevich will be participating! Young politicians will argue on the club’s scene with a little help and feedback from the jury. The following debaters will be present: Lida Belkevich (RSDUY SPb) vs. Vadim Nikolaev (“Pravoe Delo” youth group). Unemployment in Russia would be the theme of the debates. Who (the government/the society/the business) and how should be combating the rising unemployment? In the first round, the debaters will argue with each other as to how to lower the unemployment rate. In the second round, the jury will stress test the ideas of the young politicians. The jury will consist of the known politicians and journalists.
